– I understand that regular attendance is crucial for academic success and agree to follow school procedures for absences and tardiness.
Purpose
Regular attendance is essential for academic success. Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes and arrive on time.
Policy Details
A parent/guardian must notify the school by 9:00 AM if a student is absent.
Absences due to illness, medical appointments, or family emergencies are considered
excused
with a written note or call.
All other absences, including vacations during the school year, are considered
unexcused
unless approved in advance.
After
3 unexcused absences,
parents will receive a written warning.
More than
10 absences (excused or unexcused)
in a semester may result in academic review or retention.
Tardiness of more than 15 minutes will be recorded as a half-day absence.

Hats, hoods, or sunglasses must be removed indoors unless for religious reasons.

Purpose:
 To protect the health of all students and staff within the school environment.
General Guidelines:
Students showing symptoms of illness (fever, vomiting, contagious rash, etc.) must stay home for 24 hours after symptoms end.
A doctor’s note is required for return after some illnesses or extended absences.
All medication administered during school hours must be provided in the original container and accompanied by a signed

School staff are not permitted to diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Emergencies:
In case of serious illness or injury, emergency services will be contacted, and parents notified immediately.
Students must have an updated emergency contact list on file.

 All students must meet state immunization requirements or have a valid exemption form on file.
